Sweet chubby baby Ella. | eldorado hills baby photographer

Chunky babies are my FAVORITE. They are just so sweet, and squishy and cuddly. My other favorite is a SLEEPING baby! We got 3 month old chubby lovebug Ella to SLEEP during her photo shoot! She was a rock star and let us bend her and move her. This is something that only babies under 2 weeks old usually let us do! I was in heaven!

The Bottel Family | roseville family photographer

I had a photo shoot with this family on the most GORGEOUS of days! It was sunny and just warm enough with a light breeze. All the flowers had just bloomed and wild cilantro was growing everywhere and made the air smell so good! It was one of those sessions where I left knowing we had captured some amazing moments. Thank you Bottels for the fun morning!

Surprise, she’s here! | auburn family photographer

My wonderful maternity clients turned into my newborn clients faster than expected! This sweet, sweet couple had their baby girl a few weeks early and welcomed here into such a warm and happy family.

My favorite shots of newborns are usually them in all their naked glory curled up and sleeping, but not this session! I fell in love with these shots of the three of them being in love.

You know it’s time to take pics of your own children when they say, “Mommy, when is it MY turn!?”

Haha! Evan has been asking me to take HIS picture! That is a rare occurrence. I have been so busy with client sessions and proofing lately that I haven’t been able to take pictures of my own children. So I did what any good mother would do, I combined a trip to frozen yogurt with a couple of quick pictures. Yes, I was THAT mom taking pictures of her kids on a sidewalk at the shopping center! Hey, I was killing 2 birds with 1 stone!
