The beauty of a mother.

Looking back through Olivia’s photographs, I came across a quick picture I snapped of her mother Sheh-mai. It struck me how beautiful she was and it made me realize how important it is to document the beauty of the mothers. We so often photograph children that we forget to remember what the mothers look like at this special time. I have decided to make sure to take a few frames of the mother in all of my sessions going forward, so that they can look back and remember themselves at this special time in their lives.

The three amigos.

What is cuter than three babies having a picnic? I wonder what they were chatting about? The weather? The little girl down the street? What’s even funnier is that my 9 month old is almost as big as these boys who are well over a year! I am so proud :)

Little Olivia.

This little cutie is Olivia, she is full of energy and full of life. From the moment I arrived at her house to the second I walked out the door she was running and moving and climbing non-stop. I clearly remember barking like a dog to get that one split second of eye contact that will connect all of us to her.

Meet Walter.

Part of the family.

This is Rachael. A few days a week, I take evan to her house so I can get some work done here at home. He absolutely loves going to her house and can’t wait to wiggle out of my arms the second we get there. She shows him so much love and attention, the same as she would if he were her own son. Danny and I are so lucky to have her- she is like part of the family.
